Vertex Top End Piston Kit provide everything you need for your top-end rebuild, eliminating the hassle of sourcing components separately. Kit includes a Vertex piston, rings, wrist, pin, circlips and a top-end gasket kit. Exact fit A, B, or C pistons match the cylinder bore perfectly to maximize power and performance. Kits are available for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke applications. 2-stroke applications include a wrist pin bearing. 4-stroke applications include a Hot Cams cam chain.
Vertex pistons – To handle internal pressure, Vertex’s pistons are forged from the highest quality 2618 aluminum alloy for superior strength and durability. Vertex uses unique piston profiles and compression ratios, offered in A, B, C and D sizes. To maximize power and performance while reducing blow-by and oil consumption.
Vertex gasket kits – The gasket kit contains all the necessary gaskets to rebuild your top end. Kit includes head, base and exhaust gaskets, as well as O-rings, that are necessary when removing the cylinder and head during routine maintenance.
- All piston skirts are coated with a high-tech Molybdenum Disulfide coating for faster break-in time and increased piston life
- Cast piston kits are gravity cast aluminum alloy (not forged) with 18% silicone content, which produces an extremely light but very strong piston
- All pistons are heat treated with a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle
- All rings are OEM replacements
- Top end piston kit includes piston, rings, pins, circlips, top end gaskets, and wrist pin bearing or cam chain where applicable
